Has it been four years already? I can hardly fathom the journey Pep, his team, and I have gone through. I include myself because as much as I detest mushy and deep moments, I have watched myself grow with this team. A considerable amount in the department of faith, love, and learning to hope no matter the tumbles…There’s so many lessons I could state with the time Guardiola has spent coaching the team but I would have a novel. A novel where the pages are wet with tears of laughter and sadness, so I can simply say this: Pep has given football and all those who love it dearly, a reason to continue loving it and be proud. You may say what you want about FC Barcelona but can we agree that the man has given respect, love, and beauty the game always deserves? Even in his leaving, he knows how to exit, to assure that the game will remain beautiful by leaving Tito to continue a journey of success and growth. Josep “Pep” Guardiola i Sala, no thanks could ever cover the genuine appreciation and love we have for you. This is not goodbye. We know you love us as much as we love you. Enjoy the break, we’ll see you around.
